PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lift device capable of surely executing an operation as indicated on a control switch by automatically stopping a drive means at upper-limit and lower-limit positions of a hook means, and of concentrating on assistance by preventing mechanical damage.SOLUTION: This reeling type lift device 1 for assistance is composed by vertically-movably operably forming the hook member fixed to the other end side of a rope member 7 by arranging a reeling drum 26 on a drive shaft 24 provided rotatably forward and backward by operation of a drive means, and winding one end side of the rope member 7 around the reeling drum 26.
