PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sleep stage determination device capable of accurately determining a sleep stage while matching it with an international sleep depth determination standard, adopting an appropriate normalization method.SOLUTION: A sleep stage determination device includes a normalization unit 6 for controlling a peak value at a constant level by subjecting a heartbeat signal of a user detected in a non-invasive and non-restraining fashion to gain control, and performing normalization for data on the intensity of the heartbeat signal calculated using a gain value at the time, and a sleep stage determination unit 8 for determining a sleep stage of the user based on the normalized heartbeat intensity normalized by the normalization unit 6 and a dispersion value indicating variations in the data for a predetermined time calculated for the data on the normalized heartbeat intensity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT【課題】 適切な正規化手法を採用し、国際睡眠深度判定基準との整合をとりながら睡眠段階を高精度に判定することができる睡眠段階判定装置を提供する。【解決手段】 睡眠段階判定装置は、利用者の心拍信号を無侵襲且つ無拘束で検出した心拍信号に対して利得制御を行うことによってピーク値を一定に制御し、そのときの利得の値を用いて算出した心拍信号の強度のデータについて正規化を行う正規化部6と、この正規化部6によって正規化された正規化心拍強度と、正規化心拍強度のデータについて算出された所定時間のデータのばらつきを示す分散値とに基づいて、利用者の睡眠段階を判定する睡眠段階判定部8とを備える。【選択図】 図1
