PURPOSE: A hearing test method and apparatus are provided to complete a hearing test within a short time before an examinee feels bored.CONSTITUTION: A hearing test apparatus stores hearing ability data and statistical heating level data(410). A heating test is implemented in a middle frequency existing between the lowest and highest frequencies according to the control of a control unit. A data input unit receives test data(420). The control unit estimates the hearing ability of an examinee based on the hearing ability data or/and statistical heating level data(430).
