PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel fermentation apparatus for producing black tea capable of uniformizing a fermentation state of tea leaves placed on a tea leaf case arranged in multiple stages inside a housing.SOLUTION: Each shower nozzle 4 to be disposed in a housing 2 is disposed between a housing 2 inner peripheral wall surface and a tea leaf case 3 vertically in multiple stages.
