PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a time from a call to a response as short as possible in the case of sequentially making calls to a plurality of portable terminals.SOLUTION: A nurse call system includes a late response time zone detection part 26 for detecting a late response time zone when a time until a portable terminal makes a response to a call from a nurse call slave machine becomes longer than a prescribed value on the basis of call history information stored in a call history storage part 12, and a call control part 27 for sequentially making a call to a plurality of portable terminals with an interval of a second prescribed time shorter than a normal first prescribed time at a time in the case of receiving a call from the nurse call slave machine in the late response time zone, sets a time until making a call to second and subsequent portable terminals short in the late response time zone, and can make a time from the occurrence of a call to a response shorter than in the conventional practice even when a portable terminal having a late order to be called makes a response.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
