The present invention relates to combinations, particularly for local mucosal application, primarily in a solid, semi-solid or liquid preparation including lipid transfer proteins from plants, milk and plant matter (powder or extracts), such as ribwort, thyme, pelargonium, hairy rockrose and senega, containing one or more phenol derivatives. Such combinations, more particularly preparations thereof, have a primarily local mucosal effect due to an association formation (Mucobione). This results in a targeted modification of the physical properties, such as the surface tension, of aqueous systems (mucous layer). With the resulting change of the viscous-elastic properties, the mucous motility is improved and therefore the removal of undesired particles therefrom is facilitated. The Mucobione preparations are therefore suitable for physical use on neck, throat, nose, mouth and bronchial mucous membranes.
