An objective of the present invention is to provide a device that will facilitate the safe, comfortable and developmentally appropriate positioning of premature neonates in NICU whilst nursed/cared for in a cot and/or incubator (on already existing mattresses), or that at least provides a useful alternative to current positioning practices. The device includes a main member which has an oblong shaped boundary, rounded corners with openings to place tubing etc. into, encased by heat and water resistant, recycled material filled by recycled, mouldable, heat and water resistant, non-toxic material/fibers/pellets. The above device&rsquos main member is encased by a second layer of natural, absorbent, soft material/fabric over which a removable &lsquofitted sheet&rsquo with elastic at the ends made from natural material/fibers (to enhance and support the skin integrity of the premature neonate) is placed. The sides and base is movable and shape retaining to support the premature neonate&rsquos position whilst nursed in an incubator and/or a cot in NICU.
