The present invention relates to a method of producing a dietary supplement and a product produced therefrom wherein the dietary supplement produced will effect a better blood sugar reducing result for diabetic individuals, thereby allowing them to live or function healthily. The method of producing a dietary supplement generally comprises the steps of: a) Assembling raw materials consisting of leaves of sweet potato, yacon, and lady finger fruit b) Cleaning the raw materials and processing the lady finger fruit by removing its seeds c) Drying the raw materials to transform them into crispy materials d) Grinding the crispy materials into powder form e) Mixing the powdered material with water and starch to thereby transform them into a dough-like material f) Forming the dough-like material into a plurality of flat cakes and g) Heating the flat cakes to a predetermined baking temperature.
