PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing process of a composite sheet giving, in addition to a high liquid permeability, a pleasant touch.
SOLUTION: Provided is a manufacturing process of the composite sheet 1 in which the sheets 2 and 3 are partially jointed to form many joints 4 and, for the sheet 2, the projections 5 are formed in the part other than the joints 4. In forming the composite by using a bulk-restorable sheet that restores the bulk by heat treatment for at least either of the sheets 2, 3, by supplying the sheet 2, while rotating the rolls 11, 12 keeping the peripheral surfaces engraved with the tooth spaces that are engaged with each other, to the engaging part of them, by making the sheet 2 go along the peripheral surface of the roll 11, holding it as it is and moving from the engaging part and then by supplying the sheet 3 so that it may be placed on the sheet 2 and jointing both the sheets partially, the reverse side of the net surface formed at the time when the bulk-restorable sheet is manufactured is made to be the facing surface with the sheet to be piled, and before or after the jointing of both sheets the bulk-restorable sheet is subjected to heat treatment.
