UV protective agent for topical application to the skin or hair with at least one UV filtering substance that is encapsulated in a vesicular, non-penetrating skin or hair carrier system, wherein at least one UV filtering substance is lipophilic and the vesicular carrier the system consists of vesicles that are formed from hydrophobized polysaccharides, have a particle size of 10 to 1000 nm, and a positively charged surface with a zeta potential in the range of 1 to 150 mV, characterized in that but the charged surface is obtained in such a way that the vesicles, in addition to the polysaccharides from which these vesicles are formed, contain positively charged molecules of the charge donor, while this charge donor is selected from the following substances: a) N-stearyl-N, N-dimethyl-N- (2-Hydroxy-3-panthenyl) propyl ammonium salts of the formula (I), b) positively charged quaternary derivatives of sugars of the formula (II), c) positively charged phospholipids that are selected from the complex diester and triesterphosphatides of the formula (III), d ) positively charged N- (3-al amylamido) propyl-N, N-dimethyl-N- (2,3-dihydroxypropyl) -ammonium salts and N- (3-alkenylamido) propyl-N, N-dimethyl-N- (2,3-dihydroxypropyl) -ammonium salts of formula (IV), as well as N- (3-ricinylamido) propyl-N, N-dimethyl-N- (2,3-dihydroxypropyl) -ammonium salts, e) positively charged quaternary N, N, N-trimethyl-N- (2-Hydroxy-3- “R-ether” -propyl) -ammonium salts of the formula (V), or combinations thereof, and the vesicles to form a positively charged surface optionally contain, in addition to the above charge donors, one or more) somewhat positive1.
