A production strain of the alga of Monoraphidium sp. for the production of oils containing polyunsaturated fatty acids, the way of production of these oils and the use of this production strain for industrial production of these oils
Produkční kmen řasy Monoraphidium sp. uložený ve Sbírce autotrofních organismů Botanického ústavu AV ČR, Třeboň, Dukelská 135, pod přírůstkovým číslem CCALA 1094: Monoraphidium sp. Nedbalová 2009/1 je využitelný jako zdroj pro průmyslovou produkci olejů s vysokým obsahem polynenasycených mastných kyselin, zejména kyseliny hexadekatetraenové a kyseliny stearidonové pro doplňky stravy člověka, zvířat či jako použití pro jiné aplikace. Vynález popisuje také způsob produkce olejů s vysokým obsahem polynenasycených mastných kyselin v produkčním kmeni, spočívající v jeho vystavení nízkým kultivačním teplotám.The production strain of the alga of Monoraphidium sp., deposited in the Collection of Autotrophic Organisms of the Botanical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, Třeboň, Dukelská 135, under the accession number CCALA 1094: Monoraphidium sp., Nedbalová 2009/1, is exploitable as a source for the industrial production of oils having a high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids, in particular hexadecatetraenoic acid and stearidonic acid for human or animal food supplements or for the use in other applications. The invention also describes the method of producing oils having a high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids in a production strain, consisting in its exposure to low culture temperatures.
