PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus which can easily and rapidly store an ultrasonic probe exchanged and not used for current imaging, regardless of presence/absence of a lock mechanism of the ultrasonic probe.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes: an ultrasonic probe 12 including a head provided with a plurality of ultrasonic transducers for sending ultrasonic waves into a subject and receiving reflection waves from the subject, a connector for connecting the probe to an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus body 11, and a cord for electrically connecting the head and the connector the apparatus body 11 at least one connector port 15 provided to the apparatus body 11 and electrically connected to the connector and at least one connector storing unit 4 provided to at least one side surface of the apparatus body 11 and storing the connector of the ultrasonic probe 12 not connected to the connector port 15.
