The present invention relates to a device and use of the device for detection and loosening of implants installed into a subjects host bone, the device comprising: a frame for encircling and demountably engaging a portion of the subjects appendage comprising the host bone with installed implant and at least three-spaced apart attachments engaged with the frame, wherein each attachment is configured to house and to retractably deploy a sharp geometry component for contacting the host bone, wherein a temporary reference frame is created when the three-spaced apart attachments contact the host bone. The use of the device comprises obtaining a first pair of stereo radiographs of the implant under a first loading condition and obtaining a second pair of stereo radiographs of the implant and host bone area under the second loading condition and comparing the two radiographs to detect displacement of the implant.La présente invention concerne un dispositif et lutilisation du dispositif pour la détection et le relâchement dimplants installés dans los hôte du sujet, le dispositif comprenant : un cadre pour encercler et mettre en prise de façon démontable une partie de lappendice du sujet comprenant los hôte avec limplant installé et au moins trois fixations espacées mises en prise avec le cadre, chaque fixation étant configurée pour loger et déployer de façon rétractable un composant de géométrie aiguë pour venir en contact avec los hôte, un cadre de référence temporaire étant créé lorsque les trois fixations espacées viennent en contact avec los hôte. Lutilisation du dispositif comprend lobtention dune première paire de stéréoradiographies de limplant sous une première condition de charge et lobtention dune deuxième paire de stéréoradiographies de limplant et de la région de los hôte sous la deuxième condition de charge et la comparaison des deux radiographies pour détecter le déplacement de limplant.
