A recycling system for an embolism protection apparatus and an embolism filter (2). The recycling system is for use in recycling the embolism filter (2) arranged at a distal extremity of a vascular stent (1). The recycling system comprises a recycling catheter (3) movably running through the vascular stent (1). The recycling catheter (3) is provided with a distal port (31) allowing entry of the embolism filter (2) so as to accommodate the embolism filter (2). The recycling system also comprises a guide head (4) for guiding the recycling catheter (3) in running through the vascular stent (1). The guide head (4) is removably provided at the distal port (31). With the guide head (4) being provided at the distal port (31) of the recycling catheter (3), the recycling catheter (3) can be guided to run smoothly through the vascular stent (1) that is already in place and to avoid interfering with the sidewall of the vascular stent (1), thus ensuring the positional stability of the vascular stent (1).
