The invention relates to a method for producing a bioartificialtransplant from biological tissue providedfor transplantation, which has cells that arecompatible with the recipient applied thereto.According to the invention, a controlled tissuegeneration is carried out in-vitro, during whichselected cells that are capable of remodelling thecarrier structures are added to native tissue that ismaintained in a culture and the culture is continueduntil a new tissue which has been substantiallytransformed is obtained, said tissue containing theadded recipient-compatible cells.
