A device 11 for nicotine delivery comprising: a vapour outlet conduit 18 for coupling to, and for fluid communication with, a vapour creation system 12, which may comprise any suitable device for heating liquid to create vapour, said vapour outlet conduit defining a fluid passage 20 therethrough for delivery of vapour from a vapour creation system to a user； wherein said vapour outlet conduit comprises a nicotine carrier unit region configured to accept a nicotine carrier unit 22 and retain said nicotine carrier unit in said fluid passage. Said nicotine carrier unit may be removable and may comprise a nicotine-bearing substrate such that nicotine is entrained in the vapour stream as the stream passes over, or through, the carrier unit. The carrier material may be a porous material, such as a sintered material, polypropylene or polyethylene terephthalate. The carrier unit may comprise a housing and may comprise seals (42a, figure 5 & 6) which may be penetrated by penetrating elements (50a & 50b, figures 5 & 6) of the conduit. The vapour outlet conduit may comprise a mouthpiece. Also disclosed is a system for nicotine delivery and kits-of-parts for assembling the device and system.
