PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing member facilitating mounting thereof on a winged medical needle, and capable of joining a needle cap with a needle hub without using solvent.SOLUTION: The fixing member has a substantially tubular body 12, and the body (12) is formed of a material contracted by heat. The body 12 has an opening 12OP in a direction of a first lateral part S1. The body 12 has a fragile part 12WE in a direction of a second lateral part S2. The fragile part 12WE is a narrowest-width part in the lateral part S direction of the body 12 and a part to be fractured.
