A movable capsule device (10), in which a long capsule main body (11) is provided with a permanent magnet (13) that is so arranged as to capable of moving in a length direction and a coil that can drive the permanent magnet (13), said movable capsule device (10) being so adapted that an alternate current is applied to the coil to cause the forward-and-backward motion/vibration of the permanent magnet (13), thereby generating a driving power for the whole body of the movable capsule device (10). In the movable capsule device (10), the coil is composed of first and second coil parts (15, 16) that are respectively arranged at the front and back of the permanent magnet (13) so as to surround the permanent magnet (13), and the frequency of an alternate current to be applied to the first and second coil parts (15, 16) is matched with a resonant frequency of the capsule device (10) which is generated by the forward-and-backward motion/vibration of the permanent magnet (13). Thus, it is possible to provide: a movable capsule device (10) which has a small and compact size and can self-propel with high efficiency and a method for controlling the movable capsule device (10).Cette invention concerne une capsule mobile (10) dont le corps principal allongé (11) est pourvu dun aimant permanent (13) qui est disposé de manière à pouvoir se déplacer dans le sens de la longueur, et dune bobine capable dexciter laimant permanent (13).
