The present invention relates to a greenhouse system and a control method thereof. According to the present invention, the greenhouse system comprises: an insulation screen disposed to keep warmth inside a greenhouse； an opening/closing determination unit determining whether to open or close the insulation screen based on at least one of illumination outside the greenhouse, the internal temperature of an area shielded by the insulation screen, the external temperature of the area shielded by the insulation screen； and an opening/closing control unit controlling opening/closing operation of the insulation screen corresponding to determination of the opening/closing determination unit. Accordingly, opening/closing of the insulation screen is determined in concrete consideration of illumination, temperature and the like, thereby providing an effective insulation screen operation solution capable of promoting growth of crops while reducing energy costs.본 발명은 온실 시스템 및 제어 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 온실 시스템은 온실 내부의 보온을 위하여 마련된 보온 스크린； 온실 외부 조도, 상기 보온 스크린에 의하여 차폐된 영역의 내부 온도, 및 상기 보온 스크린에 의하여 차폐된 영역의 외부 온도에 관한 정보 중 적어도 하나의 정보를 기초로 상기 보온 스크린의 개폐 여부를 결정하는 개폐판단부； 및 상기 개폐판단부의 결정에 대응하여 상기 보온 스크린의 개폐동작을 제어하는 개폐제어부를 포함할 수 있다.이에 의하면, 조도, 온도 등을 구체적으로 고려하여 보온 스크린의 개폐 여부를 결정함으로써 에너지 비용을 절감하면서도 작물 생장을 도모할 수 있는 효과적인 보온 스크린 운용 솔루션을 제공할 수 있게 된다.
