A drug delivery device includes a housing, a syringe assembly including a barrel, a stopper, and a cannula, with at least a portion of the syringe assembly positioned within the housing, and a drive assembly including a plunger body configured to move the stopper within the barrel upon actuation of the drive assembly, with at least a portion of the drive assembly positioned within the housing. The plunger body has a pre-use position prior to movement of the plunger body, an injection position where the plunger body moves the stopper within the barrel, and a post use position where movement of the plunger body has stopped.
