PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thinner tube with 7 to 50 &mum wall thickness than a conventional tube.SOLUTION: This tube made of PTFE is obtained by molding a composition prepared by adding an extrusion auxiliary to a polytetrafluoroethylene resin irradiated with ionizing radiation, by a paste extrusion-molding process using a tube extruder. The resin has an absorbed dose of the ionizing radiation of 200 to 4,000 Gy, and the composition has a mass mixing ratio of the resin and the extrusion auxiliary of 86-81 mass% to 14-19 mass%, is drawn by an extruder at a draw ratio of not more than 14,000 to provide the tube with a the wall thickness of 7 to 50 &mum.COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT【課題】本発明は、従来と比べて肉厚が7~50μmと薄いチューブを得ることを課題とする。【解決手段】電離放射線を照射したポリテトラフルオロエチレン樹脂に押出助剤を加えた組成物を、チューブ押出機を用いたペースト押出し成形法により成形して得られるPTFE製チューブであり、前記樹脂の電離放射の吸収線量が200~4000Gyであるとともに、前記組成物の質量混合比率が、前記樹脂:押出助剤=86~81:14~19(質量%)であり、前記押出機における絞り比が14000以下であり、更に肉厚寸法が7~50μmであることを特徴とするPTFE製チューブ。【選択図】なし
