A new use of 2-[(3Z)-6-fluoro-2-methyl-3-[(4-methylsulfinylphenyl)methylidene]inden-1-yl] acetic acid (sulindac) of the formula 1 for making the pharmaceutical preparations for the treatment of difficult healing different types of wounds in patients with diabetes.The medical use of 2-[(3Z)-6-fluoro-2-methyl-3-[(4-methylsulfinylphenyl)methylidene]inden-1-yl] acetic acid (sulindac) of the formula 1 shown in the FIG. 1 for the preparation of pharmaceutical formulations for the treatment of difficult healing different types of wounds in patients with diabetes is disclosed.
