The invention relates to an automated installation for sterilizing reusable medical instruments or for sterilizing and crushing hazardous medical wastes. According to the invention, the installation comprises a digital multiprocessor monitoring and control (D) block which controls the installation resources, a steam generator (A), an autoclave (B), a vacuum generating system (Sv), a thermoelectric system (E) for locking and sealing the autoclave doors, the transducers (Tp, Tt) for measuring the pressure and the temperature and a crusher (C), within the installation there being implemented a software comprising the following operations: setting the functioning parameters of the steam generator (A) testing the sealing and locking of the doors - stage P- in the autoclave (B), so as to avoid the risk that toxic substances penetrate into the atmosphere during the process of sterilizing the wastes detecting the removal of air by a Bowie & Dike test - stage P- during which there is verified if in the autoclave (B) there is still air during the waste sterilization process setting the parameters for the proper sterilization - stages P- P- of the medical wastes collected in cardboard boxes and bags suitable for various type of hazardous medical wastes and introduced into autoclavation bags or collected in plastic boxes for medical cutting-stinging wastes the optional setting - stage P- with parameters set by the operator, depending on the nature of the wastes subjected to sterilization setting and controlling the functioning of the crusher (C) provided with a feed hopper and mechanical hand for the automatic feed with the sterilized wastes extracted from the autoclave (B) controlling the filling out of the infested fluids resulting from the sterilization process in the autoclave and neutralizing the fluids before the removal.Invenţia se referă la o instalaţie automatizată pentru sterilizarea instrumentarului medical reutilizabil, sau de sterilizare şi mărunţire deşeuri medic
