The present invention addresses the problem of providing a novel methylmenthol derivative usable as a cool-sensation imparter or sense-stimulating agent which has none of an undesirable irritating feeling, a peculiar odor, bitterness, and the like and is excellent in 5 terms of the retention of a refreshing sensation or cool sensation.
