The present invention relates to an apparatus for extracting respirations using a clamping pulsimeter and a method thereof, and more particularly, to an apparatus for extracting respirations using a clamping pulsimeter which extracts the number of respirations which is a bio signal by applying fast fourier transform after digital-filtering a pulse waveform obtained through a clamping pulsimeter having permanent magnet and a semiconductor hall sensor, and a method thereof. The apparatus includes a clamping pulsimeter for sensing a pulse of radius a digital filter for passing a signal having a frequency of 0.1 Hz or more among the measured data signal by the clamping pulsimeter a fast fourier transform processor for performing a fast fourier transform of singal data passing through the digital filter through complex number calculation and a respiration extracting unit for detecting a peak value from the data processed by the fast fourier transform processor, and to determine the number of respirations by sorting x-axis points corresponding to the y-axis maximum point at minimum value and 0.1 Hz or more in an original heart rate.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014본 발명은 집게형 맥진기를 이용한 호흡수 추출장치 및 방법에 있어서, 특히 영구자석과 반도체 홀센서가 구비된 집게형 맥진기로 얻은 맥진파형을 디지털 필터링한 후에 고속 푸리에 변환 프로세스를 적용하여 생체신호인 호흡수를 추출토록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 집게형 맥진기를 이용한 호흡수 추출장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로,요골의 맥박을 감지하는 집게형 맥진기와 상기 집게형 맥진기에서 측정된 데이터 신호중에서 0.1Hz 이상의 주파수 대역만을 통과시키는 디지털 필터와 상기 디지털 필터를 통과한 신호 데이터를 복소수(complex number) 연산을 통해 고속 푸리에 변환을 수행하는 고속 푸리에 변환 프로세서와 상기 고속 푸리에 변환 프로세서를 통해 수행된 데이터에서 피크치를 검출하되, 원래의 심박 주기 중에서 최소값과 0.1Hz 이상에서의 y축 최고점에 대한 x축 지점을 호흡의 주파수 영역대로 구분하여 호흡수를 파악하는 호흡수 추출부를 포함하여 구성함이 특징이다.
