PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing reel, equipped with a handle capable of enlarging a drag adjustment range to be adjusted at one time, especially capable of enlarging a turning operation range of a drag operation knob capable of being turned at one time.SOLUTION: The handle 9a of the fishing reel is formed so that the width may gradually be narrowed to the drag-adjusting knob side, and both terminal faces 63 and 64 in the width direction may be tapered. The handle 9a has corner parts 68 and 69 in a cross section obtained by being cut in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, and formed into arc shapes having prescribed radii of curvature.
