PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for ocular fundus photography, capable of photographing an ocular fundus easily without requiring injection of a contrast agent.
SOLUTION: The method for ocular fundus photography is for selectively photographing a blood vessel under the retina from above the retina by focusing infrared light by an infrared light focal point adjusting means, irradiating an eye of a subject with the infrared light of a specific wavelength by an infrared light irradiation means, and receiving the infrared light of the specific wavelength as the reflection light from the eye of the subject by an imaging element. The method for infrared photography of the ocular fundus and the apparatus for implementing the method are characterized by the infrared light of the specific wavelength which is selected in the range of approximately 680-1100 mm.
