A monopolar member (200) is selectively deployable relative to the end effector assembly (100) from a first position to a second position, wherein, in the second position, a portion of the monopolar member (200) extends distally from the end effector assembly (100) and the insulative tubular member (210) for applying energy to tissue to treat tissue.
