The agent according to claim 1, characterized in that the alcohol comprises ethanol. 3. An agent according to claim 1, characterized in that the alcohol is present in said agent at a concentration of from about 1% to about 95% by volume. The agent according to claim 3, characterized in that the alcohol concentration is from about 20% to about 60% by volume. The agent according to claim 4, characterized in that the alcohol concentration is approximately 50% by volume. The agent according to claim 1, wherein the chelating agent includes ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) and acids and salts of said compound. The agent according to claim 6, characterized in that EDTA is present in a concentration of from about 5 mg / ml to about 50 mg / ml. The agent according to claim 7, characterized in that EDTA is present in a concentration of approximately 10 mg / ml. The agent according to claim 1, characterized in that the peroxide or peroxide-forming agent includes hydrogen peroxide (HO). The agent according to claim 9, characterized in that HO is present in a concentration of from about 0.05% to about 40% by volume.
