PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray computed tomographic apparatus in which a rack can be moved horizontally and a vertically.SOLUTION: An X-ray computed tomographic apparatus 1 according to the embodiment comprises a rail 101 and a rack moving mechanism 103. The rail 101 includes: a first range which enables a subject to be photographed in a state of a lying posture and which is disposed along a horizontal direction and a second range which enables the subject to be photographed in a state of a standing or sitting posture, and the rail 101 is disposed along the vertical direction from the horizontal direction.
