PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a culture soil removing device for reducing fatigue of a worker and preventing sucking by mistake culture soil and seedlings which are put in a seedling chamber and not objects to be sucked. SOLUTION: This culture soil removing device 1 has a sucking device 3 continuously producing sucking power, a hand-carry type sucking nozzle 5 connected through a flexible hose 4 to the sucking device 3, a shutter device 6 set on a part which is in the middle of a sucking passage from the sucking device 3 to the sucking nozzle 5, and interposes at least part of the flexible hose 5 between the sucking nozzle 5 and turning on and off the deliver of sucking power to the sucking nozzle 5, and an operation button 7 arranged in the vicinity of the sucking nozzle 5 and operating the shutter device 6.
