[0062] Abstract [0063] The present invention relates to intra-operative tomographic image analysis in ophthalmic surgical planning, which is useful in quantification of refraction during refractive surgery or cataract surgery. The present invention discloses a method of tomographic imaging analysis using optical coherence tomography during ophthalmic surgery. The method comprises cross- sectional visualization of the ophthalmic tissue and imaging the cross-sectionally visualized tissue, followed by the quantification of anterior and posterior segments of the imaged ophthalmic tissue using segmentation. In addition to acquiring the images, the present invention also enables user-defined image-analytics performed through in-built segmentation and quantification methods. The present invention has potential applications in glaucoma surgery for the intra-operative OCT. The present invention is also useful in quantification of intra-operative anterior chamber depth, which helps in prediction of effective lens position. (FIGURE 1)
