The present invention relates to an apparatus for removing bad smell with improved efficiency, wherein the apparatus has an extra external air inflow pipe and receives external air via the extra external air inflow pipe, which significantly improves the efficiency of reducing bad smell while reducing costs in a simple method and comprises a front filter unit (10) consisting of a grease filter (11) which is firstly installed from an air inlet (51), a pre filter (12) and a photo catalyst filter (13)； a central lamp unit (20) which is installed on the lower part of the front filter (10) and has a plurality of ultraviolet lamps (21,22) and an ultraviolet sterilization lamp (UVC, 23)； a catalyst filter (30) which is installed on the lower part of the central lamp unit (20)； a blower (40) which is installed on the lower part of the catalyst filter (30) and inhales air from the air inlet (51) and discharges purified air to an air outlet (52)； and a second air inlet (60) which is installed on the end of the first level and receives air from atmosphere.본 발명은 별도의 외부공기 유입관을 부설하고 이를 통해 외부공기를 유입함으로써 악취제거효율을 크게 향상시켜 주되, 매우 간단한 방법으로 구현하여 비용을 절감시킨 효율이 향상된 악취제거장치에 관한 것으로, 공기유입구(51)로부터 제일 먼저 배치되는 그리스 필터(11), 프리 필터(12) 및 광촉매 필터(13)로 이루어진 전단필터부(10)와, 상기 전단필터부(10)의 후단에 설치되며 복수개의 자외선램프(21,22) 및 자외선살균램프(UVC)(23)로 이루어진 중앙램프부(20)와, 상기 중앙램프부(20)의 후단에 설치되는 촉매필터(30)와, 상기 촉매필터(30)의 후단에 설치되어 상기 공기유입구(51)를 통해 유입된 공기를 흡입하여 공기유출구(52)로 정화된 공기를 배출하는 송풍기(40)를 포함하는 악취제거장치에 있어서, 상기 악취제거장치의 일단에 외부로부터 대기 공기가 유입되는 제2공기유입구(60)를 더 형성하여 된 것을 특징으로 한다.
