An article comprising: a film and a nonwoven fabric containing fibers； embossed seam connecting to each other parts of the film and non-woven fabric, and wherein said seam contains discrete extended elements formed in the film and surrounded by “flat” portions of the film, and wherein said discrete extended elements have open proximal ends, open or closed distal the ends and side walls located between the proximal and distal ends, and the parts of the discrete extended elements have a thickness less than the thickness of the “flat” sections, and on a non-woven fabric pressed into at least one plain area and into the aforementioned side walls of discrete extended elements through the open proximal ends of the discrete extended elements. 2. The product according to claim 1, in which the nonwoven fabric is located on the side of the film containing the open proximal ends of the discrete extended elements. The product according to claim 1, in which the nonwoven fabric is located on the side of the film containing the closed distal ends of the discrete extended elements. The product according to claim 1, in which the embossed seam does not contain adhesives. The product of claim 1, wherein said film has a thickness of from about 5 microns to about 150 microns. The product according to claim 1, wherein said non-woven fabric has a specific gravity of from about 8 g / mdo to about 50 g / m8.
