PURPOSE: Ferment oriental medicine food and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to offer an effect on the treatment of depression effective microorganisms and an herbal medicine. CONSTITUTION: Select herbal medicines, and wash off contaminations. Dry each washed herbal medicine until the moisture is reduced into1-10%, and pulverizing the herbal medicines to obtain powder. Mix each herbal medicine and an effective microorganism compound with molasses or sugar, and water in a certain ration, and ferment the mixture. Dry each fermented herbal medicine to obtain powder. Mix the dried herbal medicine powder with water in a certain ration, and knead the mixture. Mold fermented herbal medicine powder batter into a ring shaped tablet using a tablet producer. Dry the ring shaped tablet with natural air or hot air. Mix the herbal medicins, molasses or sugar, effective microorganisms, and water in a weight ratio of 10:1:1:30. The herbal medicines are composed of 10-50% of beans, 1-10% of Rubus coreanus fruit, 1-10% of sweet potato, 1-10% of morus bark, 1-10% of mint, 1-10% of lycium, 1-10% of chrysanthemum, 1-10% of gaststickia, 1-10% of licorice, 1-10% of Paeonia japorica, 1-10% of Holen rubra, 1-10% of earth crust, 1-15% of Atractylodis Lanceae Rhizoma, 1-10% of Atractylodes japonica root, 1-10% of cnidium, 1-10% of gardenia seeds, 1-10% of Korean angelica root, 1-10% of forsythia fruit, 1-10% of Chinese yeast, 1-10% of barberry root, 1-20% of ginger, and 1-15% of Aurantii nobilis Pericarpium. The effective microorganisms is obtained by mixing 1-90wt% of lactobacillus, 1-90wt% of yeast fungus, and 1-90% of yeast fungus and photosynthetic bacteria mixture, and mixing the microorganism mixture with molasses or sugar in a weight proportion of 1:1 culturing without any supply of media under 20-40 deg.
