SOLUTION: The fundus camera includes an illumination optical system for illuminating the ocular fundus a fundus photographing optical system including a focusing lens and having a detachably disposed diopter correction lens and a focus detecting optical system including a target projecting optical system for projecting a target for focusing on the ocular fundus and a light receiving optical system having a light receiving element for receiving the reflection light by the target projecting optical system. The fundus camera also has a control means for controlling the drive of a driving part in conjunction with the movement of the focusing lens, and moving a part of the detecting optical system to a moving position corresponding to the quantity of diopter correction according to the moving position of the diopter correcting lens and the focusing lens if the diopter correcting lens is inserted.
