The present invention relates to a solution for peritoneal dialysis consistingof oneor more separate solutions. A treatment free of side-effects with asimultaneouslowering of blood pressure can be achieved in that the solution containssodiumions in a concentration in the region from 121 to 129 mmol/l, preferably at125mmol/l. The invention furthermore relates to a double-chambered pouch having aperitoneal dialysis solution consisting of two separate solutions whichconsists of aplastic pouch in which a first chamber with the first separate solution and asecondchamber with the second separate solution are arranged adjacent to oneanother,with both chambers being separated from one another by a weld seamdimensioned such that it opens on pressure onto one of the chambers filledwithliquid so that the content of the two chambers can be mixed with one another.
