PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a subject information detection device capable of highly sensitively detecting a pulsating signal of a blood vessel at an external auditory meatus in the state of the external auditory meatus being sealed or substantially sealed.SOLUTION: A subject information detection device comprises: a casing part 11 which can be fitted to an external ear 94 of a subject 90 such that the casing part 11 can block an external opening part 92 of an external auditory meatus 91 of the subject 90 to form the external auditory meatus 91 into a cavity 96 as a sealed or substantially sealed space structure； and a first sensor 12 which is held in the casing part 11 and detects a pulsating signal of a blood vessel at the external auditory meatus 91 as pressure information caused by the pulsating signal and propagating in the cavity.
