In order to make a rattle-free self-damped connection of the seed, which is also of variable length, as a result of the invention the connection consists of a thin-walled rubber hose which, in the unextended state, has a length corresponding to the highest position of the distributor and which, under the weight of the distributor, can be extended to the lowest position of the distributor as a result of the elastic deformation. The hose has a wall thickness of approximately 1.5 mm; it is also drawn with prestress onto its connection piece. When the seed drill is not in use, the distributor is held by a fixing device in such a way that the rubber hose is thereby free of tension.
