PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which reduces efforts to wear and prevents a user from wearing wrongly.
SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 is provided which is used by attaching to a crotch part of underwear and has a directionless circular shape or a shape of a regular polygon of at least a hexagonal shape in the plane view. The absorbent article 1 is preferably equipped with a skin abutting surface 2, a skin non-abutting surface 3, and an absorbent layer 4 interposed between them and has a plurality of compressed grooves 5 on the skin abutting surface 2. The absorbent article 1 has a region enclosed by the plurality of compressed grooves 5, 5, ... preferably in the central part of the skin abutting surface 2. The absorbent article 1 has a tacky part 6 preferably in the peripheral part and the central part of the skin non-abutting surface 3 for fixing the absorbent article 1 on the crotch part. In the absorbent article 1, a length of a transverse line intersecting the absorbent article 1 through a center C in its plane view is longer than a width of the crotch part.
