PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflux esophagitis recurrence inhibitor suitable for a maintenance therapy aimed at recurrence inhibition for a proton pump inhibitor-resistant reflux esophagitis patient.SOLUTION: The reflux esophagitis recurrence inhibitor comprises a benzimidazole-based proton pump inhibitor as an active ingredient, and is used for a maintenance therapy for a proton pump inhibitor-resistant reflux esophagitis patient cured by a treatment prior to the maintenance therapy, characterized in that the benzimidazole-based proton pump inhibitor is administered twice a day for 4 or more weeks with a dose that is equal to or half of the usual dose in a treatment period for a reflux esophagitis patient who is not proton pump inhibitor-resistant.SELECTED DRAWING: NoneCOPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT【課題】本発明は、プロトンポンプ阻害剤抵抗性逆流性食道炎患者の再発抑制を目的とする維持療法に好適な逆流性食道炎の再発抑制剤を提供する。【解決手段】本発明は、ベンズイミダゾール系プロトンポンプ阻害剤を有効成分とし、維持療法を行う前の治療により治癒したプロトンポンプ阻害剤抵抗性逆流性食道炎患者に対する維持療法のために、プロトンポンプ阻害剤抵抗性ではない逆流性食道炎患者に対する治療期の常用量又はその半量のベンズイミダゾール系プロトンポンプ阻害剤を1日2回、4週間以上投与されることを特徴とする、逆流性食道炎の再発抑制剤である。【選択図】なし
