The wheelchair users are completely dependent on assistance for transferring on to wheelchair seat and to climb the ramps. The proposed RecoNGravwheelchair is compatible with the social, physical, and economic conditions that currently characterize the situation in the growing semi-urban environments in developing countries.lt is expected to reduce the differently-abled woes by providing mechanisms/devices for seat height adjustment and shifting the centre of gravity position for a personal wheelchair thereby it is easy to transfer onto wheelchair seat and reducing the effort to push the wheel rim at inclined planes. Seat lifting mechanism/device also helps to adjust the seating height for a particularuser.The centre of gravity shifting mechanism/device makes the lateral transfer easy when getting in/out of wheelchair. The proposed idea could be made as a retrofit and incorporated in to the conventional wheel chair
