The present invention relates to novel use of a dexamethasone-conjugated polyethylenimine/MIF expression inhibitory nucleic acid complex. A dexamethasone-PEI conjugate efficiently transfers an MIF expression inhibitory nucleic acid into a cell. The transferred MIF expression inhibitory nucleic acid effectively inhibits expression of MIF and Muc5ac genes. Therefore, an inflammatory reaction induced by a particulate material or the like and excessive secretion of mucus can be prevented. The dexamethasone-PEI/nucleic acid complex includes: i) the conjugate of dexamethasone and polyethlyenimine (PEI)； and the nucleic acid capable of inhibiting expression of the macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF) binding to the PEI by electrostatic attraction.본 발명은 덱사메타손 접합 폴리에틸렌이민/MIF 발현 억제 핵산 복합체의 새로운 용도에 관한 것이다. 덱사메타손-PEI 접합체는 MIF 발현 억제 핵산을 세포 내로 효율적으로 전달하며, 전달된 MIF 발현 억제 핵산에 의하여 MIF 및 Muc5ac 유전자의 발현이 효과적으로 억제됨으로써 입자상 물질 등에 의하여 유도된 염증 반응과 점액 과다 분비를 억제할 수 있다.
