PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a reference image indicating the inside of a living body together with an ultrasonic image.SOLUTION: The image 117 of an anatomical drawing which is an illustration image is displayed together with the ultrasonic image 118. A scan mark 115 indicating a wave transmission/reception area is synthesized and displayed on the image 117. a comment 116 can be entered in relation to the image 117. Instead of the image 117 of the anatomical drawing, a schema image generated from a B mode image can be displayed as well. The image of the anatomical drawing can be automatically switched accompanying the position and posture of a probe.COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO【課題】 超音波画像と共に生体内部を示す参照画像を併せて表示できるようにする。【解決手段】 超音波画像118と共にイラストイメージである解剖図のイメージ117が表示される。そのイメージ117上には送受波領域を示すスキャンマーク115’が合成表示される。イメージ117に関連付けてコメント116を記入することもできる。解剖図のイメージ117に代えて、Bモード画像から生成されるシェーマ画像を表示させることもできる。プローブの位置や姿勢に伴って解剖図のイメージを自動的に切り換えるようにしてもよい。
