Disinfectant solution contains quaternary ammonium salts, wherein the main component of the solution is represented by bromides of tri-n-octylprop-2-ynyl-, tri-n-octylbut-2-ynyl- and tri-n-octyl-o-2-ynyl ammonium in dimethyl sulphoxide or water-ethanol mixtures.
