PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lactobacillus having decreasing action of hepatic neutral fat that is a cause of fatty liver, in particular, a lactobacillus having a &gamma；-aminobutyric acid producing action and a hypocholesterolemic activity in addition to the hepatic neutral fat decreasing action as well as an oral composition, for example, a drinking and eating composition and a pharmaceutical composition containing the lactobacillus or fermentation products thereof.SOLUTION: Provided is a lactobacillus (Lactobacillus brevis) having a hepatic neutral fat decreasing action, preferably, having a &gamma；-aminobutyric acid producing action and a hypocholesterolemic activity in addition to the hepatic neutral fat decreasing action derived from brassica rapa (turnip) cv. tsuda.【課題】脂肪肝の原因となる肝臓の中性脂肪を低減する作用を有する乳酸菌、特に肝臓中性脂肪低減作用に加えて、γ－アミノ酪酸生産作用及びコレステロール低下作用を有乳酸菌、並びに当該乳酸菌またはその発酵物を含む経口組成物、例えば飲食組成物や医薬組成物を提供する。【解決手段】肝臓中性脂肪低減作用、好ましくは肝臓中性脂肪低減作用に加えて、γ－アミノ酪酸生産作用及びコレステロール低下作用を有する、津田かぶ由来の乳酸菌（Lactobacillus brevis）。【選択図】なし
