PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of a fundus image by minimizing a decrease in light quantity for OCT (optical coherence tomography) imaging processing, for instance.SOLUTION: A CPU extracts feature points from the fundus image of an eye to be examined, imaged in a predetermined region by a first imaging means (S401), and sets a region smaller than the predetermined region, including the feature points (S403). The CPU images the fundus image of the eye to be examined, in the set region by the first imaging means, and detects the position deviation of the feature points based on the imaged fundus image of the eye to be examined (S405).
