PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood pressure measuring system for measuring blood pressure, which has good operability in such a way that a sphygmomanometer used to measure blood pressure by manually winding a cuff around a body part to be measured is connected to another cuff with cabling and a body part to be measured is inserted through the other cuff to measure blood pressure.SOLUTION: Provided are the blood pressure measuring system and a cuff unit to be used therefor, not using a cuff of such a sphygmomanometer type that the cuff is wound around a subjects body part to be measured in measuring blood pressure and air is sent to the cuff to pressurize the body part, but using a differently attached cuff unit for allowing the subject to insert his/her body part to be measured therethrough and pressurize the body part by air. In this system, the pressure of an air reservoir for reserving the air flowing by operating a compressor of the sphygmomanometer by operation of an activation switch of the sphygmomanometer is measured, followed by sending air from the compressor to the cuff of the cuff unit to pressurize the subjects body part to be measured.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】血圧を測定する血圧計において、カフを被験部に手動で巻きつけて血圧を測定する血圧計を、別体のカフ装置と配管で接続し、別体のカフ装置に被験部挿入して血圧を測定するようにして操作性を向上させた操作性のよい血圧計を提供する。【解決手段】血圧を測定する際にカフを被験者の被験部に巻いてカフにエアを送って被験部を加圧するタイプの血圧計のカフを使わずに、別設の被験者が測定部位を挿入して該測定部位をエアにより加圧するカフ装置を使い、前記血圧計の起動スイッチの操作により血圧計のコンプレッサを作動することにより流れるエアを溜めるエア溜部の圧力を検出した後に前記カフ装置のカフに前記コンプレッサからエアを送って被験者の測定部位を押圧する血圧測定システムとそれに用いられるカフ装置に関する。【選択図】図3
