The transplanting module includes a soil contact surface located substantially in the same plane as the soil allocated for planting, a keel element to create a furrow in the soil, a transport means made with the possibility to support a plant from below, and a transfer means for transferring the plant by pushing it along the transport means. Wherein the keel element passes at a predetermined distance below the soil contact surface, and its outer periphery determines the furrow depth. Wherein the transport means pass from the position above the soil contact surface to the position below the soil contact surface and pass to the predetermined depth into the furrow to transfer the plant from the device to the furrow. Wherein the transport means comprises a distal end for unloading the plant. The transport means is made with the possibility to open the outer periphery of the plant below the soil contact surface, so that at least one sidewall of the furrow comes into contact with the outer periphery of the plant before unloading the plant from the distal end of the transport means.
