The present invention relates to an Alzheimer&primes disease prediction method which removes a boundary of an unnecessary object in a neuroimaging image based on a grow cut and a canny edge detection technique to check a volume of a brain, and predicts and provides Alzheimer&primes disease based on the volume of the brain. The Alzheimer&primes disease prediction method comprises: a step where an Alzheimer&primes disease prediction system separates only a brain image from an MRI image inputted from an MRI image generation device a step where the Alzheimer&primes disease prediction system removes noise from the separated brain image a step where the Alzheimer&primes disease prediction system removes a noise area around a boundary for the noise-removed brain image a step where the Alzheimer&primes disease prediction system converts the separated brain image into a binary image a step where the Alzheimer&primes disease prediction system calculates a separated brain volume based on the binary image and a step where the Alzheimer&primes disease prediction system diagnoses Alzheimer&primes disease based on the calculated brain volume and provides a diagnosis result. Accordingly, a deterioration speed of Alzheimer&primes disease is maximally slowed down by an early discovery of Alzheimer&primes disease to improve quality of life.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016본 발명은 그로우 컷(grow cut) 및 캐니 에지(canny edage) 검출 기법을 기반으로 하여 뇌영상 이미지에 불필요한 객체의 경계를 제거하여 뇌의 용적을 확인하고, 뇌의 용적을 기반으로 하여 알츠하이머 병변을 예측하여 제공하기 위한 알츠하이머 병변 예측 방법에 관한 것으로, 알츠하이머 병변 예측 시스템이 MRI 영상 생성장치로부터 입력된 MRI 영상으로부터 뇌 영상만 분할하는 단계 알츠하이머 병변 예측 시스템이, 분할된 뇌영상으로부터 노이즈를 제거하는 단계 알츠하이머 병변 예측 시스템이, 노이즈를 제거한 뇌영상에 대해서 외곽선 주변의 노이즈 영역을 제거하는 단계 알츠하이머 병변 예측 시스템이, 분할된 뇌영상을 이진화 영상으로 변환하는 단계 알츠하이머 병변 예측 시스템이, 이진화 영상을 기반으로 분할된 뇌용적을 산출하는 단계 및 알츠하이머 병변 예측 시스템이, 산출된 뇌용적을 기반으로 하여 알츠하이머 병변을 진단하고, 그 결과를 제공하는 단계를 포함한다. 이에, 알츠하이머병의 초기 발견을 통해 알츠하이머병의 악화속도를 최대한 늦춰 삶의 질을 향상시킬 수 있도록 하는 효과가 있다.
